Koos, who sadly has just passed away this year, was especially known for the incorporation of collage into his work. His work always was started from the fabrics he chose and loved and this love of textiles runs strongly through his pieces, especially the rarer ones that date to very early in his career as the ensemble that we have here. This amazing pant and tunic set typifies the movement towards clothes that were easy to wear and had a sportswear meets runway feel to them. Both pieces are made of a soft light printed cotton with his signature collage applied boldly to the front of the tunic. Both pieces are so easy to wear and are that slip on and go type pieces. I love the heavily collaged bibbed effect front and the loose and easy cut of both the tunic and pant.  The tunic is cut long so it layers perfectly over the pants, whose wide legs are the perfect balance. The tie at the collar is the perfect finish allowing you wear it open or ties. So chic and so versatile. Excellent condition

Both pieces are unlined. The tunic slips on with an attached tie at the neck. The pants close with a zipper and button at the waist and have pockets along each hip seam
