We fell in love with the colors and pattern of the fairisle fringe vintage blanket from Faribault, we decided to make a jacket with it. The wool blanket is a nice weight and very soft with a great drape. The shawl collar and pockets both used the original fringe detail from the bottom hem of the blanket.  This is a relaxed fit jacket with a shorter length. It's a great piece for layering and to add a little pattern to your wardrobe.
